The Buzz About Bee Health

In recent years, crop protection products have come under scrutiny by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the general public for the impact they potentially have on beneficial insects and, in particular, honey bees. In response to those concerns, during 2012 Bayer CropScience will open a new bee care center designed to preserve and promote honey bee populations, according to Dick Rogers, manager of the facility. In the following video, Rogers shares his perspective on the vision Bayer has for the new center as well as actions farmers can take to provide habitat for honey bees on their land.
